Overview
Spark Ventures’ results for the year to the end of March 2015 show that the NAV fell by 12% over the year (adjusting for cash returns) but they point out that it has recovered most of this fall since the end of the period. 4.5p or £19m has been returned to shareholders.
They struck a deal after the year end to sell off the rest of the portfolio (excluding IMI, a stock that IPOd during the period and is trading well). They’ll get a minimum of £3.7m for their none other investments and, of that, they’ve already had in £2.8m.
The Board say they’ll be setting out plans for the future soon.
