Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund has announced that Jean Roche, a fund manager in Schroders’ Pan-European Small and Mid Cap team, has been appointed as co-portfolio manager, joining Andy Brough, with immediate effect. This follows Rosemary Banyard’s retirement earlier this year.
Jean joined the team in January 2016 from Hargreave Hale where she was most recently a fund manager and analyst. Andy, who has managed the portfolio since Schroders was appointed Manager in May 2003, will remain the lead manager.
The Chairman, Eric Sanderson, commented: “The Board is delighted by Jean Roche’s appointment. She and Andy Brough work very well together as a team and her appointment as co-manager is a recognition of the relationship she and Andy have established on our Company’s portfolio.”
