- International Public Partnerships (INPP) has acquired an additional interest in the Bradford and Lewisham Building Schools for the Future (BSF) Project. INPP is committing a further £3.6m to acquire stakes in the six PFI project companies that own the fourteen schools providing education facilities to over 17,000 pupils across Bradford and Lewisham, UK. The investment builds on the existing commitment of over £200 million that INPP has already made.
- RTW Venture (RTW) made two announcements with respect to its portfolio holding company, Ji Xing Pharmaceuticals:
- On 14 July 2020, an exclusive licensing agreement was announced by Ji Xing Pharmaceuticals and Cytokinetics, a late-stage biotech company focused on discovering, developing and commercialising muscle activators and next-in-class muscle inhibitors for the development and commercialisation of CK-274, a next-generation cardiac myosin inhibitor, in Greater China.
- Following its seed investment in Ji Xing earlier this year, RTW participated in the company’s Series A financing round with an investment of $5m on 28 July 2020.
- LMS Capital (LMS) is leading an investor group that has reached a deal to finance the acquisition by Dacian Petroleum from the Romanian state oil company, OMV Petrom. The business operates 40 oil and gas fields with 190 active and 900 inactive wells located in Romania. The transaction represents LMS’s first investment in the energy sector.
