Overview
RIT Capital Partners is the investment vehicle for the family interests of Jacob Rothschild. It aims to deliver long-term capital growth, while preserving shareholders’ capital; investing without the constraints of a formal benchmark, but delivering for shareholders increases in capital value in excess of the relevant indices over time.
RIT Capital Partners does this by investing in a widely diversified, international portfolio across a range of asset classes, both quoted and unquoted; allocating part of the portfolio to exceptional managers in order to ensure access to the best external talent available (by investing in funds managed by them)
We have written notes that explain how the fund works:
- “Healthy absolute return with less risk“, published in February 2018, looks at RIT’s track record and investment style that has been strong over many decades
