Investing in the shares of larger quoted Asia Pacific companies, or high yielding securities, for a high income.
Usually these funds will:
- have over 80% invested in Asia Pacific shares;
- less than 80% in any single geographic area;
- an investment objective/policy to generate majority of returns from income;
- a majority of equity investments in medium to giant cap companies;
- a majority of their expenses allocated to revenue ;
- a portfolio or dividend yield above the average market yield; and
- an Asia Pacific benchmark.
